Coming to Lawrence in 2013

The new United Way Lawrence Financial Stability Center, powered by Lawrence CommunityWorks (LCW), will adapt and develop the United Way model to the pressing needs of one of Massachusetts' most economically devastated communities. The Center's opening is preceded by LCW's Lawrence Saves, a resident-driven awareness campaign that will foster financial literacy by promoting financial education, sound financial decision making, higher rates of savings, and access to better investment opportunities and products. The Center will address the unique needs of the community by cultivating partnerships across various community service organizations, financial and other institutions and leveraging resources to create the greatest impact.
